Heavy oil and grease are very adherent and cannot be removed effectively without detergent. The detergent emulsifies oil and grease, making ultrasonic removal much easier.
Stronger acids and alkalis are forbidden as they will corrode the SUS304 stainless steel tank over time. For detergent selection, consult your local detergent company or supermarket for professional advice.
Flammables or solutions with low flash points should never be used. Strong alkali and acids should be avoided as they will damage stainless steel tanks.

Frequency selection depends on pollutants. 28kHz frequency is stronger, better for car/motor/truck/vessel parts (removing oils, grease, pastes). 40kHz is better for PCB boards, electronic or other precision parts. Higher precision goods require higher frequencies.
